How we write and review our content

Every clinical page on Alivio Health & Rehab is written for patients in plain language and reviewed by a licensed provider who is named on the page, with the date it was last reviewed. We cite primary sources and update pages when the rules change.

Our standards

Every page about care, OWCP claims or Texas workers' comp is written for patients in plain language and reviewed by Peter Ruiz, MD, our medical director.

We link to primary sources such as the U.S. Department of Labor and the Texas Department of Insurance, Division of Workers' Compensation.

Pages are re-reviewed at least once a year and whenever OWCP or Texas rules change; the date is shown on each page.

We correct errors promptly. Report one to the email address below.
